Rhododendron Garden Tour, Mother's Day 2024 | Flowers are Blooming at Kincaid's Nursery
Rhododendrons are blooming and it's time for another garden tour. It's been a crazy weather cycle this spring, with late frosts, decreased rainfall, and hotter than usual temps! It all came together on Mother's Day week though, and we've got some beautiful blooms happening right now.

How lighting Changes Paint Color on Gray Walls

After showing off the new lights, I wanted to try an experiment and see exactly how lighting changes paint color on gray walls. I went out and purchased a single led can light that is adjustable, just so that I can test this out and know exactly what color light I want in all my can lights throughout the house. It is June and I live in the south and followed your directions. I put the cutting on my covered porch out of the sun. The next morning all the leaves had turned brown. Did I bake them due to the heat even though they were not in the sun?

Hey Mike. You gotta be like man... I gotta answer this guy now too 5 years later? I've watched this video more than once until finally I am at the same 6.5 weeks today. Sorry to bug you, really am. But Thank you for answering my brother. It's just that I have the same exact injury as you, but I cut that finger right where the palm and finger start. Cut the same tendon as you though. FDP Here's my question. Did you have, at the time of this video, a difficult time moving your other 3 fingers? Especially in the morning? Super stiff, can't make a fist at all with the other 3 fingers until you got up and loosened them up a ton every morning? This is where I'm at. I look at this video of yours and you seem to move your other 3 fingers better than I do and definitely looks like you can make a fist with those 3 better than I do for sure. Could you do that in the morning? Did you wear a compression glove? I believe my physical therapist was not watching my other fingers and forearm and atrophy was setting in really hard for 3.5 weeks. Forearm lost a lot of it's size and hand veins disappeared and they still told me not to move any of my fingers. Essentially, I didn't move my fingers for 3.5 weeks at all except with the other hand. Atrophy was setting in. I finally took my own health into my hands at 3 weeks and 5 days and took the splint off and started moving my fingers. Barely could move them much. I am now to the point where I can move them after exercise in the morning. Hurts to move any of my fingers due to the edema in the whole hand. You can see the whole hand is slightly larger than the other and it's restricting my movement. As for my pinky finger I cut... Mine doesn't move as well as yours does, but that's not my concern. My concern now is the use of my other fingers at this point. I'm sorry for the long question. I just want to know one thing... did your other fingers get affected and feel stiff in the joints and not move great in the morning at 6.5 weeks or no? Thanks Mike. May The Lord Jesus bless your hand, and thanks for the video. Kevin

My rose has become a tree and has a thick trunk (around 1" diameter), also, it has some of the common black spots that appear on leafs. 1- Is it alright to propagate from the thick trunk, or should I get cuttings from the smaller but hard branches? 2- Should I avoid cuttings that have black spots , or is it ok? Will these spots cause harm? Legend! Thank you! 🙏

Loved this video. Hydrangeas are one of my most favorite bushes and I have even been able to propagate them but mine never bloom. 😢 Even the ones I’ve bought at garden centers. They never bloom after their first initial bloom when I buy them. Can you tell me why? I’ve tried so many times…and I’ve lived in two different areas of western Ky. I’m about ready to give up after years of trying. One area I lived the bushes I grew had gorgeous leaves but never had blooms. The one I have now has nice foliage but no buds or blooms.

Im encouraged by these posts. THank you so much. My peach tree didnt get thinned enough and wind last night caused a branch to split. I used a stick to prop up the branch. now that Ive watched. Your video I will wrap the branch at the damage point. Im concerned that pests dont invade the tree there, so how do I prevent that? Pulled off most of the peaches from it. Should I pick off the rest of the fruits on that branch?

Yes, my 5th grade teacher had us collect the leaves, feed the caterpillars and moths in class, and we tried to unravel the silk by boiling some cocoons. Seems like he froze the eggs over the winter because the silk moths project was a year-to-year thing. The mulberry tree was out by the sandbox.

You can scrape all the poop off in a minute every day or two. It saves time and keeps the pine shavings out of the poop, so you can build better compost
